- Abstract
This study aims to better understand the cultural difference of conceptualization of “critical thinking” concept through the perspectives of U.S. and Chinese pre-service teachers. The result shows that the pre-service teachers’ discussions of critical thinking concept are shaped by their cultural understanding of thinking, educational ideals and the development of agency and professional identity in teaching experiences.
