The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University (FAHZU) is a teaching hospital which is affiliated to Zhengzhou University. With more than 10,000 beds and annual revenues of 7.5 billion CNY in 2014, it is one of the largest teaching hospitals in the world. As of 2020, FAHZU has launched its own peer-reviewed open access journal entitled Intensive Care Research. This journal provides a platform for the communication and exchange of latest news, ideas and findings in all disciplines of critical and intensive care medicine worldwide, and is currently published by Atlantis Press.

HMG also launched their own medical journal, the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Journal, which is currently published by Atlantis Press.

African Export-Import Bank

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) is a pan-African multilateral financial institution which is headquartered in Cairo, Egypt and which was established for the purpose of financing, promoting and expanding intra- and extra-African trade. The bank aims to stimulate a consistent expansion, diversification and development of African trade while operating as a first class, profit-oriented, socially responsible financial institution and a centre of excellence in African trade matters. As of 2014, Afreximbank also launched a peer-reviewed international journal, the Journal of African Trade, which is devoted to studies and research on issues of African trade and trade finance and to matters relating to the socio-economic development of Africa. Initially published by Elsevier, the journal transferred to Atlantis Press in 2019.
