Abstract: Using the methods of literature, mathematical statistics and expert interview, this paper studies the related problems of promoting the high-quality development of xiamen sports industry. The research shows that The sports manufacturing industry, sports service industry, sports facilities construction, sports competition and performance industry have been developed in different degrees in Xiamen, and the market subjects are increasingly active. The main problems of the development of The sports industry in Xiamen under the impact of COVID-19 are as follows: the modern industrial chain has not been built independently and controllable, the implementation effect of industrial policies needs to be improved, the supply of sports industry professionals is weak, and the entry degree of social capital needs to be improved. Under the normal situation of epidemic prevention and control, the high-quality development of Xiamen sports industry is facing the opportunity of new era, new demand, new technology and new development paradigm. Suggestions are as follows: Optimize the industrial structure and help the industry chain to be controllable independently; Build a new pattern of development with double circulation; To implement the plan of strengthening human resources; To develop and strengthen competitive sports enterprises and improve the level of industrial aggregation; To build regional collaborative growth pole of mutual symbiosis of Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou sports industry.
