- Abstract
It has often been observed that students’ enthusiasm, especially in learning Japanese, is low due to the lack of engaging and interactive learning media. In this modern era, educational media frequently utilize emerging technologies, one of which is the metaverse-based platform, such as Assemblr Metaverse, which can be used in learning. This research aims to determine the relationship between the use of Assemblr Metaverse media and students’ enthusiasm for learning Japanese in class 12 MIPA 1 at SMAN 10 Malang. The research employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Based on the data processing and analysis conducted, the results show a significant relationship between the use of Assemblr Metaverse as a learning medium and students’ enthusiasm. This is evident from the evaluation of 36 respondents, where the significance value is 0.000, which is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). The strength of the relationship between the two variables is considered strong, with a correlation coefficient falling within the range of 0.60 to 0.799, specifically at 0.731.
