Abstract

The movie “My Hometown and Me” to be released in 2020 adopts a collective creation method to split and reorganize a movie in segments, forming a novel paragraph-style movie. Such a deconstruction method not only promotes the development of my country’s film industry system, but also promotes the evolution of my country’s film categorization with its extremely post-modern characteristics. Therefore, this article will start from the fact that the paragraph is the film itself and combine the market value and social significance of the film, and deeply analyze the signifier and the signified, and the “synchronicity” in the organically unified theme design model of “individuality and commonality” in the post-modern context. The deconstruction and reorganization, contradiction, and fragmentation of the fragmented time and space where sex and diachronism coexist, the personal symbols and political symbols in the narrative method, and the symbolic and metaphorical characteristics in non-integrated and diversified audiovisual creations. In-depth exploration of its role in the development of China’s film industry system.
