Abstract

In this paper, using the method of combining qualitative and quantitative, we conducted an in-depth research to the sustainable tourism development theory, and then constructed an evaluation index system of sustainable tourism development in Hebei Province. Finally we used AHP to evaluate the tourism sustainable development status in Hebei Province, and found that in nearly 10 years, the tourism comprehensive evaluation score in Hebei Province is in an intermittent increase trend, and the trend is rather stable. Trying to tackle the existing problems in the sustainable development of tourism industry, we finally put forward some measures for promoting the sustainable development of tourism industry in Hebei Province.
