- Abstract
This paper analyzes the evolution trend of China-US economic and trade frictions during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Based on this, two scenarios of China-US economic and trade frictions are set up. The dynamic GTAP model is used to estimate the impact of China-US economic and trade frictions on the Chinese economy and major industries during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period under different scenarios. The results show that the negative impact of China-US economic and trade frictions has diminished marginally during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. For industries, the negative impact of China-US economic and trade frictions on China is mainly concentrated in the secondary industry. For sub-sectors, electronic equipment manufacturing industry, transportation equipment manufacturing industry, and metal products industry are greatly affected.
