Abstract

In this paper, the ring of Gaussian integers instead of the integer ring is used to construct the extended ElGamal digital signature schemes with appendix and message recovery. This approach has many advantages over the classical digital signature scheme. An example is given to show the validity of the proposed extensions of digital signature schemes.
