Abstract

Language anxiety refers to the nervousness or low feeling language learners experienced in the course of second or foreign language learning process. In the second or foreign language learning, most learners have experienced the language anxiety. They feel embarrassed when they have to speak in English in classroom. In order to make it known to students and teachers, this paper introduces language anxieties and its factors, manifestations, effects and sources. Suggestions are presented for students to lower their anxieties.
