- Abstract
The notion of Transknowletology, coined by a Chinese scholar named Yang Feng, Professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University, witnessed its own debut in 2021. It combines the theories of Knowledge with Translatology, offering a creative perspective for translation studies. Pragmatics Translation has experienced over 30 years of development in China and it is currently stuck in its falling period. This paper aims to reevaluate the development of Pragmatics Translation from the perspective of Transknowletology, attempting to offer suggestions to break through the development bottleneck.
