Abstract

Stress IntensIty factor can reflects the stabIlIty of cracks. It Is Important to study accurate calculatIon method of stress IntensIty factor. In thIs study, the fInIte element method wIth modelIng usIng ordInary element and sIngular element Is applIed to calculate stress IntensIty factor. It Is shown that calculatIon result from the fInIte element model usIng sIngular element Is more accurate than that from the fInIte element model usIng ordInary element.
