Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology has spotlighted the application of Generative AI in higher education. This paper explores its utilization in professional education at universities, analyzing both its technical framework and pedagogical foundations. It presents application examples in literature, design, and programming, illustrating how Generative AI significantly improves teaching effectiveness and student learning experiences through scenario simulations, personalized learning materials, and interactive experiences. The paper also addresses the technical challenges associated with implementing Generative AI, such as ensuring content quality, safeguarding data privacy, and navigating ethical considerations. Additionally, it discusses the challenges related to technological adaptability for teachers and learning adaptability for students. To mitigate these challenges, the paper proposes strategies to enhance content quality, strengthen data privacy, address ethical issues, and improve adaptability among educators and learners. Ultimately, the paper underscores the vast potential of Generative AI in professional education and advocates for collaborative efforts among educators, technologists, and policymakers to foster its constructive development in the educational sector.
