BADS 2022 provided a platform for scholars engaged in Business Administration and Data Science to exchange and share information and discuss how the two affect each other, promoting the modernization of the related fields. We were honored to have Prof. Feiliang Niu from Kashi University, China to serve as our Conference General Chair. Divided into three parts, the conference was composed of keynote speeches, oral presentations, and online Q&A discussion, bringing together 200 individuals. Firstly, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-45 minutes to hold their speeches. Then in the next part, oral presentations, the excellent papers we had selected were presented by their authors in sequence. During the conference, six sophisticated professors were invited to address their keynote speeches. Among them, Prof. Dequan Hung from Kashi University, China delivered a speech on the topic: Corporate Executives’ Hometown Connections with Officials Influence Corporate Cash Holdings. The hometown connection is one of the crucial relationships in China’s relational society. Using the data of A-share listed companies, he and his team examined how hometown connections between corporate executives and local government officials affect corporate cash holdings. Additionally, Prof. Jing Gao from Southwest University, China gave a report on the title How about Farmers’ Entrepreneurship Promotes Household Consumption: Logical Approach and CFPS Empirical Analysis. The report proposed suggestions to improve the entrepreneurial service and platform construction, developed an entrepreneurial organization with the net profit which is 6 times of the average per capita income, established a management system for the double risks of social guarantee and agricultural insurance, and facilitated the descending of development consumption. Their brilliant speeches had triggered heated discussion. Besides, every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge. After months of well preparation and hard work, the proceedings of BADS 2022 covering a bunch of papers are smoothly published. These papers feature but are not limited to the following topics: Digital Management, Enterprise Technology Innovation, Model Fitting and Data Analysis, Intelligent Management System, etc. All the papers have been checked through rigorous review and processes to meet the requirements of publication. On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the keynote speakers, peer reviewers, and all the participants. Particularly, we would like to acknowledge the Atlantis Press, for the endeavor of all its colleagues in publishing this paper volume. With the strong support, we are sure that BADS 2022 has been beneficial to all the attendees. The Committee of BADS 2022
