The Journal of Automotive Software Engineering is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of a special issue on Recent Trends in Model-based Engineering of Automotive Systems. The aim of this special issue is to present significant recent advances in system and software development and engineering methods, techniques and tools to deal with the many unique challenges the automotive industry faces. Furthermore, it will address future trends and challenges regarding continuously growing system and software complexities and the integration of disruptive technologies. Guest Editors for this special issue are Alessio Bucaioni (Mälardalen University), Joanne Atlee (University of Waterloo), Juergen Dingel (Queen’s University), and Sahar Kokaly (General Motors). Atlantis Press Launches New Open Access Journal on Automotive Software Engineering

As per January 2018, Atlantis Press has launched a new open access journal entitled Journal of Automotive Software Engineering (JASE). JASE will be dedicated to distributing research and industrial results in the field of automotive systems and software engineering as well as overview papers in this area. The journal invites researchers and practitioners in the area of automotive software engineering to publish scientific papers in this field, including architecture, development, process and testing. The journal is now open for submissions (check here for details on how to submit an article) and is expected to publish its first articles in late 2018 or early 2019.
