Journal of Automotive Software Engineering

Aims & Scope

The Journal of Automotive Software Engineering is dedicated to distributing research and industrial results in the field of automotive systems and software engineering as well as overview papers in this area. With the advent of innovative software and electronics, automotive companies are applying state-of-the-art technologies to improve safety, driver experience and fuel efficiency. Increasing use of software has caused a paradigm shift by requiring automotive companies to develop their systems while using architecture and model-based techniques. The subjects of interest to the Journal of Automotive Software Engineering cover the important aspects of the field, such as automotive systems/software architectures, software process and quality, safety and security, autonomous and cooperative driving vehicle technology and intelligent transport systems. Additionally, submissions on the development of, and challenges provided by, forthcoming and future vehicles, such as fully electric cars and hydrogen and solar cars, are also welcome. The aim of the journal is to be relevant for academia as well as industry.
