Proceedings of the 2016 International Conference on Social Science, Humanities and Modern Education (SSHME 2016)

The 2016 International Conference on Social Science, Humanities and Modern Education (SSHME 2016) was successfully held in Guangzhou, China, May 30-31, 2016. The SSHME 2016 provided the ideal opportunity to meet experts and researchers in humanities, arts education, social sciences, cultural studies, education, education psychology, and interdisciplinary studies. Also, the conference provided an excellent venue to present your projects and receive quality feedback. Speakers and presenters shared new concepts, best practices, knowledge, experience, strategies, and solutions, with a focus on promoting knowledge, peace, sustainable development, economic justice, human rights and cultural diversity. The conference welcomed proposals from experts in liberal arts education, social sciences, humanities, public policy, and scholars, academics, consultants, professional researchers, independent scholars, practitioners, artists and performers, and PhD/graduate students in arts programs, humanities, interdisciplinary studies, social science, sociology, and history.

This conference is also to record the latest findings and promote further research in these areas. Scholars from all relevant academic fields are invited to submit high-quality manuscripts that describe the latest, state-of-the-art research results or innovations. All papers had undergone careful peer-review by expert referees to professional and scientific standards before being selected for publications in these volumes. The total number of submitted papers was 122 and 50 were accepted.
