Abstract

Scientific literacy plays an important role in scientists' scientific exploration and is one of the indispensable elements of scientific research. Historical data of science and technology shows that every major scientific discovery is closely linked to scientific literacy. Physics is a key component of natural science. Therefore, this paper uses the historical data of physics as support to illustrate the importance of scientific literacy in physics discovery from five aspects.
