Proceedings of the 2nd International Scientific conference on New Industrialization: Global, national, regional dimension (SICNI 2018)
The 2nd International Scientific Conference on New Industrialization: Global, National, Regional Dimension (SICNI 2018) was held on December 4-5, 2018. The conference was organized and hosted by the Ural State University of Economics and took place in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
The aim of the Conference was to discuss the findings of scientific research, conclusions and recommendations on the transition to the new industrial model of Russia’s and world economic development. The Conference participants were representatives of science, business, public organizations, state and local authorities, and heads of enterprises of the real sector of economy.
The Conference has received 571 manuscripts, of which 174 submissions have been accepted by our reviewers (well-known international experts in industrial economy). Full papers submitted to the conference were peer-reviewed by two - four reviewers per manuscript before being selected for publication. In case when two experts had disagreements, the paper was sent to another two reviewers for evaluation.
We would like to express our high appreciation to the organizers, members of the program committees and reviewers of SICNI 2018 for their hard work. Without their participation, it would be impossible to hold SICNI 2018 successfully and ensure high quality of papers of the conference proceedings. We also would like to express our gratitude to the unbelievable number of authors for contributing their research results to the Conference. Special acknowledgements go to Atlantis Press team. We also hope to meet again in the upcoming conferences.
