- Abstract
As China's comprehensive national strength continues to enhance, it has closer link with other countries and also an increasing demand for professional English talents in the domestic market. In this context, colleges and universities, as a place to train English professionals, should innovates in and reform their own mode of English translation teaching in the network environment. However, some colleges and universities do not pay much attention to English translation teaching due to the influence of traditional teaching modes. Some problems in the teaching process make students have no interest in English translation learning, which leads to the low teaching quality of college English translation. In the background of the Internet age, if Internet technology can be well applied in the teaching of English translation, it will not only improve students' interest in English translation, but also promote the reform of English translation teaching mode in colleges and universities in China. By briefly describing the current situation of English translation teaching in colleges and universities and analyzing the advantages of college English translation teaching mode in the network environment, the author explored how to create a mode for English translation teaching in the network environment.
