Proceedings of the conference on Recent Advances in Rock Engineering (RARE 2016)
We welcome you to the International Conference on Recent Advances in Rock Engineering (RARE 2016), to be held from 16th to 18th November 2016, in Bengaluru, India.
The Conference will address the problems and challenges posed in excavation of openings in rock for mining engineering, civil engineering and infrastructure development projects, and will discuss solutions to overcome these problems. Past experiences will be shared, and application of new technologies will be explored.
The objective of the Conference is to bring together the practicing engineers, planning and design engineers, researchers, academicians, consultants, in the field of rock mechanics and rock engineering.
RARE 2016 is being organized by National Institute of Rock Mechanics as a Specialized Conference of the International Society for Rock Mechanics.
