Abstract

By analyzing the influence of her family and the society, the thesis intends toreveal the causes to her character’s formation. Her family made the” mother's” image more profound. Then the society allowed Amy Dorrit having inherited the asset, which reveals the social reality. In addition, this essay explains why Amy Dorrit has the same life experience as Charles Dickens and the value of the analysis of the characters.
