Abstract

To study Chinese Beibu Gulf port cost efficiency, based on the cost evaluation index system which is selecting net value of fixed assets, net assets, Cost of prime operating, the number of employees as input indicators, and selecting prime operating revenue , net profit as the output indicators, we constructed a modes of the super efficiency DEA ’port company cost-efficiency evaluation. The study found that the comprehensive efficiency of Beibu Gulf port DEA is effective compared with other 15 coastal port listed companies. While it has large space in the efficiency , longitudinally compared with Yantian port, Nanjing port, Xiamen port, Lianyungang, Tangshan port which are the top five port cities.
