The Broadcasting Regulations as a form of multicultural communication policy on Indonesian television. This is an attempt by the Indonesian government to control foreign cultural imperialism. Through the Broadcasting Regulation, the Government seeks to protect Indonesian culture and encourage the emergence of multicultural values on Indonesian television. As one of the mass media and Public Broadcasting Institution in Indonesia, TVRI became the first media in preaching and spreading as well as influencing the Indonesian people in spreading policies from the government.
