- Abstract
Through the questionnaire survey for 236 Generation Y employees, the main purpose of the thesis is to explore the relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention of Generation Y employees. The results indicate that the overall level of organizational commitment of Generation Y employees is not high, while their turnover intention is at a relatively high level; emotional commitment, standard commitment, ideal commitment, and economic commitment show a significant negative correlation with turnover intention, among which standard commitment, ideal commitment and economic commitment have significant predictive influence on turnover intention. While for emotional commitment, there is not significant predictive influence on turnover intention.
