- Abstract
The aim of this research is to develop and improve the implemented Preventive Maintenance (PM) process at a Petrochemical Company. The Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concept is applied to solve the problems of high variance times and unbalanced monthly man-hour utilization in the process. The results of this research were a reduction in variance time and improved balance of the man-hour utilization. The improved PM process resulted in PM plan compliance of 95.52%, hence, achieving the Key Performance Index (KPI) of 85% or more set by the business.
