The event’s interdisciplinary approach draws on design, information, social science, and the humanities, offering/allowing not only to think/design what today’s design makes possible but also to invent new things on media and society can do using emergent technology. This conference is a sphere for those intellectuals who examine the conceptual design, praxis, and research discourse on the exploration of academic merits for the design field and others. The conference and exhibition will welcome theories, methods, and implementations of innovation in media and visual design. The 3rd International Conference and Exhibition of Innovation in Media and Visual Design (IMDES 2025) is set to take place at the National Art Gallery in Langkawi, Malaysia, in collaboration with ASWARA Malaysia. The exhibition will run from July 30-August 3, 2025, showcasing innovative and creative works in a prestigious setting. Meanwhile, the Academic Conference is scheduled for July 30-31, 2025, providing a platform for intellectual discourse and knowledge exchange among scholars and practitioners. The National Art Gallery Langkawi, renowned for its vibrant cultural contributions, will serve as the perfect venue for this significant event, including the conference and also exhibition. The two keynote speakers were Prof. Ts. Dr. Khairul Azril Bin Ismail, National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA), Malaysia and Tomas Chochole, PhD – University of West Bohemia, Czech Republic. The 3rd International Conference and Exhibition of Innovation in Media and Visual Design conference and exhibition emphasizes the importance of innovative, thoughtful design solutions that bridge gaps and build connections between people, communities, and the environment to create a more sustainable future.
