- Abstract
The K2O-Al2O3-SiO2 samples containing different amounts of CaO, CuO and TiO2 were successfully prepared by conventional melting technique followed by heat treatment method. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) results show the existence of crystalline CaCu3Ti4O12 phase in both the as-synthesized and heat treated samples. In addition, dielectric measurements were carried out in the frequency rang of 40 Hz-1 MHz. The highest dielectric constant ( r~53) of the CaCu3Ti4O12-containing sample is about 9 times that of pure K2O-Al2O3-SiO2 glass.
