Proceedings of the International Conference on Online and Blended Learning 2019 (ICOBL 2019)

The first International Conference on Online and Blended Learning (ICOBL) 2019 topics was “Innovation in Online-Blended Learning: Implementation, Implication, and Emerging Technology”. This conference which is organized by Graduate School UNY in collaboration with National Central University – Taiwan aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, scholar and students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of Online and Blended Learning, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.

The conference received more than 80 submissions from ten different countries which were reviewed by relevant experts through a double-blind review process. The articles in the conference included the areas of new technology, teaching and learning, engineering, and creative learning. About 58 papers have been accepted for presentation at the conference and publications at the Atlantis Press which will be indexed by Scopus.

This conference had many qualified speakers they are Prof. Dr. David Stein from Ohio State University, USA, Prof. Tian Belawati, Ph.D. from Open University, Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Zoraini Wati Abas from Wawasan Open University, Malaysia, Dr. Elizabeth Hartnell-Young from University of Melbourne, Australia, Prof. Dr. Wu-Yuin Hwang from National Central University, Taiwan, and Nurkhamid, Ph.D. from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Finally, I would like to thank all the speakers who delivered keynote speeches, the authors who contributed papers, the conference chairs, reviewers, technical committee and all committee members. Their high competence, their enthusiasm, their time and expertise knowledge enable us to prepare the high-quality program and helped make the conference a successful event.
