Abstract

Numerical method for reliability sensitivity design is presented based on fourth moment technique, and the reliability sensitivity of the capstan in track-laying vehicle with non-normal random parameters is extensively discussed. The variation regularities of reliability sensitivity are obtained and the effects of design parameters on reliability of the capstan in track-laying vehicle are studied. The method presented in this paper provides the theoretic basis for the reliability design of the capstan in track-laying vehicle, the production can be very useful if it extended to correlated area of machine sensitivity design.
