Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Life, Innovation, Change and Knowledge (ICLICK 2018)
The development of information and communication technology has changed people’s behavior and business schemes on global scale. It is important for various elements in the society, including academics in the field of science and research, to address the development appropriately.
Various views on the dynamics of science and research in the millennial era need to be conceived by the spirit of collaboration and transdisciplinary. Inflexibility as one of the scientific barriers needs to be adjusted to develop scientific and collaborative research. As we look at the various social issues of humanity and global environment issues, it is important for academics to contribute their thoughts and innovations regarding the humanity as well as the sustainability of humans’ life.
These arguments are the background of the 2018 International Conference on Life, Innovation, Change, and Knowledge (ICLICK 2018). This academics meeting is an international symposium that covers multidiscipline discussions in the fields of ICT, Social Sciences, Life Sciences, as well as the engineering towards aspects of life, innovations, social changes, and knowledge. With this variety of discussion, this symposium will provide opportunities to present ideas and raise the awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, promoting research and action to build sustainable communities and interdisciplinary collaboration. I hope ICLICK 2018 will be beneficial for all of us. On behalf of the Faculty of Communication Sciences Universitas Padjadjaran, I would like to express high appreciations to all who have contributed to the success of this conference, with a hope this occasion will provide goodness and benefit for all of us.
