- Abstract
This paper focuses on the representation of the natural environment through new media art. Technology has made it ordinary to create works of art that depict nature. Simulacre and simulation are the two categories into which the article divides the production of new media art in the natural world. Through using the virtual nature created by new media art, we study the relationship between humans and the actual natural world by starting with the relationship between nature and humans.
