- Abstract
Yunnan's diverse ethnic groups have created a multi-ethnic food and cultural paradise suited to their ecological, social and human environment through exchange and interaction. The development of the food economy has facilitated exchanges, food as a gift is a bond of friendship, shared dietary customs bring communities closer together. Cultural exchange and fusion among the various ethnic groups, across ethnic boundaries, allows for cultural sharing and promotes inter-ethnic integration, forming a unique food culture community in Yunnan.
