- Abstract
The Higher Vocational Education is not only an important component of national educational system, but also a pivotal means to solve the shortage of skilled workforce in enterprises. Early back to 2016, China has already formulated specialized regulations about the higher vocational education. “The Craftsmen of China” has undoubtedly become the buzz words with highest attention from the mass media. How to nurture higher vocational students to become great Chinese craftsmen has become a significant issue for many educational institutes while implementing educational activities. Currently, the higher vocational education not just keep replying on “market-oriented” educational mode, but also should emphasize more on comprehensively fostering students to meet with the changes and demands of domestic and international circumstances. By analyzing these factors, it is not hard to find that higher vocational education is different from college English education because of the specialty of targeted subject. Therefore, we should carry out higher vocational education in accordance with their actual English abilities and levels.
