- Abstract
Classroom is the main venue and students are the vigorous force of “telling China’s stories”. Ideological-political education not only strengthens all-round development of students but also improves the quality of talent training program for Thai language so as to train students as builders and successors for socialist cause with Chinese characteristics with both political integrity and professional competence. Given the new requirements of ideological and political theories teaching in universities in the new era, this paper first analyzes the current situation of ideological and political theories teaching in Thai language courses and puts forward the path of reform from the perspective of “telling China’s stories” by taking the course Service Standards of Thai Tour Guide as an example. The author aims to build a strong learning ambience of “three-wide” education in class to improve the teaching efficiency and quality, which will contribute to building a Thai language program with characteristics and consequently broaden the employment scope of Thai language students.
