Abstract

The transformation of education in the digital era demands that teachers be prepared to integrate technology into the teaching and learning process, including in the subject of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK). This study aims to identify the needs of PJOK teachers regarding digital learning, based on a survey of 198 respondents from various junior high schools in South Sulawesi. The results indicate that the majority of teachers already have adequate devices, relatively stable internet access, and find digital learning platforms easy to use. Nevertheless, there is a significant need for further training in technology utilization, engaging digital instructional design, and the development of varied content such as videos, animations, and interactive quizzes. Teachers also emphasize the importance of collaborative features, discussion forums, and real-time feedback as efforts to enhance student engagement. In addition, technical support, infrastructure maintenance, and digital assessment systems are considered vital for the effective implementation of PJOK digital learning. The study concludes that successful implementation of digital PJOK learning requires a holistic approach encompassing technological readiness, teacher professional development, supportive infrastructure, and adaptive evaluation systems. These findings provide strategic insights for schools and policymakers to strengthen a transformative and inclusive digital learning ecosystem within the context of PJOK.
