2021 International Conference on Enterprise Management and Economic Development (ICEMED2021) was held on May 14-16, 2021 in Nanjing, China. ICEMED 2021 focused on the related research fields of economic development and enterprise management, aiming to provide a professional academic exchange platform for experts and scholars, technical personnel and development talents in related fields, and jointly explore the new development of economic development and enterprise management. Experts from universities, scientific research institutions, scholars, enterprises and other relevant personnel are warmly welcome to contribute and participate in the conference. Through this meeting, participating scholars can listen to the wonderful reports of well-known experts and share the leading research results and innovative ideas in the industry.

The conference model was divided into two sessions, including oral presentations and keynote speeches. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given 15 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-45 minutes to hold their speeches. More than 70 participants attended the meeting.

In the keynote presentations part, we invited three professors as our keynote speakers. The first keynote speakers, A.Prof.Zhaojun Yang, from Southern University of Science and Technology, China was invited to present his talk: Financing Mode Design with Secured Debt and Security Token Offerings under Asymmetric Information. It showed that the new STO financing mode has considerable advantages over the traditional guarantee in increasing social welfare level. A.Prof.Yan Zhang, Nanjing Audit University, China was our second keynote speakers. She presented a talk: Responsible or Innovative? -- Research on Behavior of Enterprises Based on Complexity Science. Research suggested that there are totally 4 methods authorities could adopt to better guide the responsible innovation of Chinese enterprises, including establishing a reasonable proportion of investment, introducing an effective reward system, enhancing surplus operating value and giving full play to the synergistic mechanism between government and market. A.Prof.Vasilii Erokhin, from Harbin Engineering University, China as our finale keynote speakers. He delivered a speech: Pursuing Sustainable Development: The Economic Policies Trajectories in the Post-COVID Era. In his speech, he discussed approaches to the new interpretation of sustainable development concepts in light of the post-pandemic revival of global economic activity, as well as explored possible solutions to the new normal of economic policies in the sphere of sustainable development.

We are glad to share with you that we received lots of submissions from the conference and we selected a bunch of high-quality papers and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewed them. These papers feature following topics but are not limited to: 1. Enterprise Management. 2. Business Management. 3. Industrial Economy. 4. Industry Development. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard.

We are really grateful to the International/ National advisory committee, keynote speakers, session chairs, organizing committee members, student volunteers and administrative assistance of the management section of University, including accounts section, digital media and publication house. Also, we are thankful to all the authors for contributing a large number of papers in the conference, because of which the conference became a story of success. It was the quality of their presentations and their passion to communicate with the other participants that really make this conference series a great success.
