- Abstract
Students’ foreign language (FL) acquisition is closely related to foreign language anxiety (FLA). With the foreign language classroom scale (FLCAS), this paper analyzes four aspects of FLA and finds some factors that cause and affect anxiety, such as the input’s characteristics, process-associated issues, instructional factors, insufficient self-confidence, etc. Finally, some feasible solutions and methods are summarized and put forward to help students enjoy their further foreign language learning. On this basis, this paper improves the practical significance of reducing learners’ FLA in foreign language teaching.
