Abstract

Taking the M&A of 58.com as an example, this paper studies the selection of M&A strategies and the financial synergies of M&A. The results show that the series of mergers and acquisitions in 2014 and 2015, including horizontal, vertical, diversified strategies and brand acquisitions, have declined in different degrees in the current period of profitability, operation ability, debt paying ability and development ability. After the merger and integration period, various financial indicators have been on the rise, and the financial synergistic effect of M&A is significant.
