Abstract

Considering the stability analysis theory of multi-infeed high voltage direct current (HVDC) system, the transmission capacity analysis method of multi-send ultra high voltage (UHV) AC/DC power grid is studied in this paper. By extending the multi-infeed short circuit ratio index, we can get the multi-send short circuit ratio index (MSSCR), and the stability of the system is analyzed by using BPA simulation platform. Then MSSCR is revised according to the analysis results, and adjust the outward transmission capacity until MSSCR reached set value, which is the outward transmission capacity of the grid.
