- Abstract
This study aims to analyze the performance of Effective Time and Berthing Time (ET/BT) in the handling process of cargo ore nickel at PT. Tiran Indonesia, Southeast Sulawesi. The main focus of the research is to determine the effectiveness level of loading and unloading activities based on the ET/BT ratio and to identify the factors hindering performance improvement. The research applies both qualitative and quantitative approaches, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study involved a total of 50 respondents who were employees of PT Tiran Indonesia. Data analysis is conducted using the Fishbone Diagram method to identify root causes affecting loading and unloading performance. The research results indicate that the ET/BT ratio is 62% in September 2026 and 86% in Oktober 2026. The fishbone analysis results show that there are three main issues at PT Tiran: excessive working hours, rainfall, and limited generator capacity.
