Proceedings of the 2014 International Conference on Global Economy, Commerce and Service Science

It is a delight for me, and I believe for other members of the Conference Committee as well, to know that the GECSS 2014-International Conference on Global Economy, Commerce and Service Science, will be held on January 11 and 12 in Phuket, Thailand, as scheduled and have its chance to serve people as intended.

The world is shrinking as the economy is progressing. A country nowadays can never achieve the prosperity of itself and the well-being of its people without interacting with many other counties, regardless of their distance and territory. And among these interactions, the one of commerce definitely matters to a considerable degree. So in order to help those who are making their effort with global economy, this convention is arranged.

The GECSS 2014, which is to be held in Phuket, Thailand on January 11 and 12, 2014, has received plenty of inspiring manuscripts by authors from all around the globe. These papers covered a wide range of domains, including but not limited to:

International Monetary Economics
International Marketing
Urban Economics
Industrial Economics
Behavioral Health Services
Mental Health Services
Service Oriented Computing and Applications.

With a wide range of fields covered, excellent experts invited and enthusiastic participants, it is almost certain that this convention will bear lots and lots of fruits with scientific value when it ends. And these achievements which at first come out by studying the global economy and commerce, will ultimately be used to accelerate the advance of them and bring practical effects. This phenomenon, I believe, is what everybody would be happy to see.

Finally, there are many thanks for us to make. The support of Atlantis Press, the contributions and participation of all the authors, and the hard work of the committee members and conference organizers, all these are indispensable to the successful hosting of this convention.I thank them for what they have done and wish they could support us as always in the future.
