- Abstract
Supervisor-Subordinate GuanXi (SSG) is a new research direction in the study of the relationship between superior and subordinate within the organization, and because of its appropriateness in Chinese context, this concept is increasingly becoming a hot area of research. However, since this theory is still in the early stage of development, a further understanding on the content, measurement issues and other research conclusions of SSG is needed. Based on the literature review, this paper will make a commentary on the domestic and overseas research outcomes of SSG from the following three aspects specifically: the content of SSG; the structure and measurement of SSG and the empirical research findings of SSG, and finally point out the shortage of current research and direction for future study of SSG.
