- Abstract
While Cloud computing brings much convenience to companies; it also produces many a threat to information security. TEM is a Java-based architecture that gives strong safety guarantees to high-assurance Java applications in cloud computing. TEM advances the state of the art in Java Virtual Machine in both the design of its own fine-grained integrity measurement on demand and in the ability to ensure recoverability in the face of malicious attacks. In this paper, we introduce TEM, as a novel fine-grained measurement method for Java application, which takes advantages of the structural feature of Java class file. It not only satisfies users’ necessary trust from the trusted platform module, or TPM, but also has less impact on running performance in cloud environment.
