The 3rd Annual Conference of Education and Social Sciences (ACCESS 2021) was conducted by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Mataram in collaboration with the Indonesian Publication Center. The virtual conference was held via Zoom Meeting on November 19–20, 2021.

The theme of the conference was “Emerging Roles of Education and Social Sciences in Post Pandemic”. The theme is very important post COVID-19 virus outbreak, as an encouragement and motivation to continue in sharing knowledge during the recovery from the pandemic. This raises discussion in the topic of Character Education, Education Issues and Policies, Education Technology and Curriculum, Inclusive Education, Assessment and Evaluation, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Geographical Education, Civics Education, Teacher Education, Professional Development, Guidance and Counseling, Microfinance, Small and Medium Business Enterprise, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, Accounting, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, International Law, EFL/ESL, Language Education, Literature Studies, Linguistics Studies, Applied Linguistics, and Humanities. The objective of the conference was to promote the exchange of ideas and presentation of the advancements of research in the area of Teacher Education, Education Technology and Curriculum, Psychology of Education, Economics and Business, Politics and Law, Language Education, Linguistics and Literature Studies and Humanities, as well as Art and Social Sciences.

Following the theme, we invited eight keynote speakers and eight invited speakers from all over the world. Our keynote speakers were Prof. Mahyuni, Ph.D. (University of Mataram, Indonesia), Dr. Jennifer Smith (Queensland University of Technology, Australia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Mahzan Awang (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia), Dr. Tesha Sengupta-Irving (University of California, Berkeley, USA), Dr. Yeo Sook Fern (Multimedia University, Malaysia), Agusdin, M.B.A, D.B.A. (University of Mataram, Indonesia), Dr. Salman Alfarisi, M.Sn (Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia), and Dr. Sitti Aminah, MTP (Litbang Kemdagri, Indonesia). whereas the list of invited speakers is as follows: Prof. Dr. Arifudin. (University of Mataram, Indonesia), Dr. Syafrudin, MS. (University of Mataram, Indonesia), Murni Ramli, S.P., M.Si., Ed.D. (Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia), Dr. Santi Farmasari, S.Pd., M.Ed. Tesol. (University of Mataram, Indonesia), Dr. Devi Hellystia (Gunadarma University, Indonesia), Dr. Tri Kusnawati, M.Hum (Yogyakarta State of University, Indonesia), Dr. Asrin, M.Pd. (University of Mataram, Indonesia), and Dr. Lalu Sumardi, M.Pd. (University of Mataram, Indonesia).

The committee has worked hard to organize this conference. This conference would not be possible without the dedicated and coordinated efforts of the committee members. We thank all of you for making this a reality. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported this conference. Our great thanks and appreciation also go to all presenters for the parallel sessions, who come from various countries, universities, and different scientific disciplines in education and social sciences. Thank you very much for your participation. Hopefully, the conference will provide a meaningful international forum for sharing knowledge, expertise, and experiences. Our thanks are also extended to the editors, reviewers, and proofreaders, for the feedback and recommendations for the improvement of the paper qualities and to the Atlantis Press for helping in publishing the conference papers.
