Abstract

Currently many enterprises are carrying out acquisition action frequently. However, the key factor to measure successfulness of acquisition is whether the business synergy effect has been realized or not. Therefore, the Beijing Tourism Group acquisition case for Home Inn has been selected to check business synergy effect from profitability, growth potential and market share aspects. The result of this study will offer experience reference for future synergy effect research of horizontal acquisition and propose some suggestions to related regulatory authorities.
