- Abstract
The purpose of the research is to analyse the trends of changing the institute of a houshold under the influence of new industrialisation processes using the example of Russian society. Currently, changes in housholds have become a source of irreversible social transformations in industrialized countries. Reducing the rates of marriage and fertility, increasing in the number of divorces and incomplete families led to a negative dynamics in the age and ethnic structure of society, “restructuring” the various vital areas of society – economic, social, political, etc. The main methodological approaches for studying the object were the systems and the structural-functional. The theoretical basis of the study was an analysis of publications by foreign and domestic scientists who studied the problems of housholds and marriage, especially the transformation of the housholds during the period of modernisation and new industrialisation. The empirical base consists of statistical materials and own empirical studies.
