Abstract

From the perspective of eco-linguistics, this study regards the language teaching and learning process as a micro-ecological system, conducts a comprehensive and dynamic investigation of English teaching, and studies the interactions among various elements of the system among learners, teachers, language and learning environment. We also conduct ecological design of English teaching from the aspects of teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching evaluation system, etc., in order to promote the improvement of English teaching methods and improve the learning efficiency of English learners.
