Abstract

based on the characteristics of MODIS image, the author studies change of NDVI in different level burn intensity in burn blanks in one year and between years in discontinuous permafrost area of Northeast China. In this paper, the method based on relations of NDVI changes was set up. The study shows that the forest recovered quickly after smaller fire. And the NDVI in fire area is larger than that in no fire area.
