- Abstract
The purpose of this article is to identify and analyze several references on the keyword’s leadership and ethical leadership. Through Harzing’s Publish or Perish, a systematic review of the literature was undertaken for this study utilizing the Scopus database. Using the SPAR-4-SLR Protocol, the data analysis was carried out using Microsoft Excel, Mendeley, and Vos Viewer to provide transparency and replicability. The results of this research identified 131 primary articles indexed in Scopus Q1 based on Scimago Journal Ranking (SJR). The study also discovered the existence of 12 knowledge clusters supporting research on leadership and ethical leadership with a total link strength of 261. The Vos Viewer visualization revealed that “ethical leadership” had a significant magnitude and was related to the phrase “leadership,” demonstrating a clear connection between the two terms. This research has several limitations, such as constraints in accessing databases limited to Scopus. Thus, it is advised that future studies broaden their data collection by using additional sources such as Emerald, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, Ebsco, Google Scholar, ProQuest, and non-Q journals like Web of Science.
