The International Scientific Conference on Philosophy of Education, Law and Science in the Era of Globalization was organized by Ural Federal University and Kh.I. Ibragimov Complex Research Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences and successfully held in Ekaterinburg, Russia, on 13–14 February 2020. PELSEG 2020 aimed to make an academic discussion on modern aspects of social sciences publicly available for students, media, and the general audience. The target audience of the conference is researchers in the field of linguistics, education, literature, culture, ethics in society, as well as educators and journalists. The attendees of PELSEG 2020 were involved in the discussion on topical issues of pedagogy, psychology of education, lifelong learning, digitalization and internationalization of education, social and political sciences, religion, and philosophy.

We hope that during this conference all the participants were enriched with new ideas for their future research. After careful reviewing, the most valuable and significant academic papers were selected for publication. We would like to thank all the participants of PELSEG 2020 as well as the organizing committee for their efforts in holding the conference. We would also express our deep appreciation to the administration of public not-for-profit organization “Centre of Social and Humanities Initiatives and Projects” for providing facilities for gatherings.

Finally, we would like to conclude that, the Conference has brought fruitful and productive sessions allowing participants to expand the knowledge, build and broaden their networks. We look forward to new opportunities for sharing ideas and discoveries.
